Agreement
These terms apply to the FuelInject Android app, developed by Ram Charan in India ("we", "us"). By installing or using FuelInject you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Safety first
Don't use FuelInject while riding or driving. Log fill-ups and check the app only when you've safely stopped. Always follow traffic laws and road conditions over anything shown in the app.
Estimates, not advice
Mileage, costs, insights, reminders and trip distances are calculated from what you enter and from your phone's GPS. They are estimates and can be wrong.
- Follow your manufacturer's service schedule and your mechanic's advice. Reminders are a convenience, not a replacement for either.
- Petrol bunk locations come from Google and OpenStreetMap and may be outdated or incomplete.
- Nothing in the app is financial, legal or mechanical advice.
Your account
You can use FuelInject without an account. If you sign in with Google, you're responsible for keeping your Google account secure, and for what happens under your account.
You must be 18 or older to use FuelInject.
Your data
Everything you enter (vehicles, fill-ups, expenses, notes) belongs to you. When you sign in, you allow us to store it so we can back it up and restore it for you. We don't use it for anything else. You can export it as CSV, and delete it at any time (see delete your account).
Keep your own copies of anything important. We work to protect your data but can't guarantee it will never be lost.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Break the law using the app.
- Try to access other users' data, or probe, overload or disrupt our services.
- Reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app or its backend.
- Generate fake ad clicks or impressions.
Ads & third parties
FuelInject is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob. FuelInject also relies on services such as Google Firebase, Google Places, Google Maps and OpenStreetMap, which have their own terms. We aren't responsible for ads or for content and services provided by third parties.
Changes & availability
We may add, change or remove features, and may update these terms. When the terms change, we'll update the effective date above. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
We try to keep FuelInject available, but don't promise it will always work without interruption or errors.
Liability
FuelInject is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from relying on estimates in the app, such as a missed service, a fuel cost or a breakdown. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending
You can stop using FuelInject and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why where we reasonably can.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
